To highlight the project's island connection, Pono Stone supplied custom-cut Puka Lava stone for the edges of pathways, retaining walls, and landscape structures. Sourced from native Hawaiian lava rock, the stone's rich texture and deep tones bring a grounded organic feel, creating a striking contrast against the surrounding tropical greenery.
Puka Lava stone also frames the base of the iconic garden pool, creating a bold, earthy foundation to this serene water feature. Its rugged surface and high-performance durability make it ideal for high-traffic outdoor use while maintaining a natural, organic feel.
Quartzite Flagstone Pathways in a Custom Color Blend
In the heart of the development, quartzite flagstones pave the pedestrian pathways in a bespoke blend of golden amber, ocean green, and slate blue. This hand-selected mix reflects the vibrant, sun-drenched atmosphere of the Hawaiian landscape, while adding depth and tonal variety underfoot.
The flagstones guide foot traffic and connect key features, enhancing both the shopper experience and the seamless integration of architecture with landscape. The result is a cohesive, elegant foundation that welcomes visitors and encourages them to explore.
